What is spirituality?

Nowadays spirituality is perceived and understood incorrectly. It is believed that if you do a certain kind of actions such as studying a certain kind of literature, visiting churches, temples, mosques…, meeting priests and monks from different religions or making pilgrimages to places perceived as holy, as well as other types of activities, you are a spiritual person.
Or all these types of actions only help a seeker of God to move towards true spirituality. They are just steps on the ladder of human evolution.
Spirituality cannot be learned from books, it cannot be found on the internet, it cannot be found anywhere, no one can give it to you, it cannot be bought, it cannot be seen, it cannot be listened to (through speeches and discourses, through so-called spiritual music…), it cannot be touched…
Spirituality is a state of fact, a state of achievement that requires daily effort and very good karma. The word spirituality comes from the spirit, from the real Self that resides within each human being. We are actually this Self, not the body with which we identify, our name, gender, nationality…
The word “spiritual” originates from the Old French “spirituel” and Medieval Latin “spiritualis,” which means “relating to the spirit”. It is derived from the Latin word “spiritus,” meaning “breath” or “spirit”. The Latin “spiritus” itself comes from the verb “spirare,” meaning “to breathe”.
This spirit is the divine spark of the divine fire, which resides on the throne located in Hiranya Garbha, in the skull, from where it controls every aspect of human life.
Spirituality, or being a spiritual being, means being in every moment, in every moment in direct contact, in close connection with the inner Self, with the inner spirit, with the soul.
What does this mean? It means that all our actions are decided by the inner spirit: breathing, eating, inner feelings, thinking, speaking, sleeping… and not by our Ego, by our imperfect senses.
A spiritual person does not mix too much with the world, is not very communicative, does not participate in social activities… He is permanently interiorized, with all senses and emotions under control, in close communion with divinity.
He does not accumulate material wealth, does not desire power, fame or recognition, does not impose, does not order, does not expect anything, is satisfied with everything, is in continuous peace with himself and with others.
Our mission is to discriminate, to separate Sat (Real, True Essence, Permanent, What does not change), https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sat_(Sanskrit) from Asat.
Sat is what is real, and Asat is what does not really exist, Maya, illusion, the opposite of Sat. The spirit, the soul is Sat, and all else is Asat.
Conclusion. Be careful about considering yourself or others as spiritual persons.
