The Cosmic Astrology Group, a non-profit organization founded to promote the interests of the art of astrology in southern New Jersey, first met on April 10, 1995 at 7:00 PM in Runnemede, NJ. Originally it was called the "Cosmic Circle Astrology Association." Later we dropped the "circle" with the thought that a "zero" was not helping us. Much to our surprise, many people still refer to us as "Cosmic Circle." Hey, don't do that! The new name is a lot better numerologically, and we need all the help available.
Seriously, without the help of many local astrologers and astrology buffs, we could not have made it. We still like to brag that "Non-Profit" has been our most easily achieved goal.
We currently meet at the Residence Inn on Hurffville Rd., Rte.41, in Deptford which is easily reached by major highways such as Rte 42, Rte 55, Rte 168, Rte I-295, and the New Jersey Turnpike. It is convenient to the Deptford Mall and even a Mc Donald's. Mapquest maps are provided by this site. Click on Maps to help find us.
Normally, meetings are held on the 3rd Friday of the month, except July, August, and December. Once or twice a year, the the meeting is a Saturday afternoon workshop with lunch included. Yum!!
Dues are $30 a year which entitles you to a beautiful plastic membership card and discounts to all events. You can still join and receive a card even if you don't attend meetings. Truly, why would you want to miss a meeting?
